The U.S. Forest Service is in the process of reclaiming 250 acres of highly erosive unconsolidated spoils at the Riley Pass Uranium Mine Site, located in Custer Gallatin National Forest. The site is made up of twelve bluffs (A-L). LT Leon was responsible for engineering design, engineering oversight, and full time construction inspection for bluffs C, D, & E, approximately 40 acres. Design included natural landform regrade, along with design of a park maintenance road, including a low water crossing and turnout.
