The Iowa DOT plans to improve the interchange at I80/I35 and Highway 141.  Safety and traffic capacity improvements are two goals of the project.

LT Leon was responsible for preparing Pipe Plats and Pink Sheet for approximately 40 culverts.  This included incorporating existing pipe data from the project surveyor, locating and calculating the pipe/pipe extension, completing pipe cross section information, labeling proposed grade break lines, and completing pink sheets following Iowa DOT standards and Microstation/GEOPAK protocols.  LT Leon utilized MicroStation V8i and Iowa DOT’s ProjectWise workspace environment.
