As part of a two runway, $45 million dollar reconstruction project, Runway 13/31 was replaced in the summer of 2015.

LT Leon provided construction inspection services on the airfield electrical installation. Tasks included:  daily observations and reports, weekly quantities information, weekly meetings, materials review, as-built submittals, and coordination between electrical contractor and the prime engineer.
